EditEx is a free text editor which optimized for programming and comfortable text editing proccess. EditEx has alot of features that is needed such as highlighting more than 50 schemes of programming languange (including most popular C++/C#/Delphi/Basic/HTML/PHP/CSS/Python/Java), search (and replace) using regex, encoding, editing, and also creating files formated for different OS such as Win/Linus/Mac, quick spell checking and auto correct, full screen mode, FTP client, and feature to edit files on server,highlighting brackets, search/replace in files, favorites, powerful print with syntax highlight etc.
The most important features on EditEx are scripts and tools for running a specific tasks such as compiling files, or format a personal customized text. You are able to create your own scritps with JavaScript or VBScript language. There are three classes (General, CurrentEditor and AppEditEx) with its own very well documented functions, methods, and properties.
Tools allow you to create instruction list for serial executing. There are three types of command: launch a program with variable path, parameters, or even a workdir or launching custom EditEx Script; simple delay, when it is needed.
